Commerce school visiting Marc De Raeve

This was the first visit from students following a commerce course. They had never visited a tree nursery before and during this visit, we focused on how we manage the company. We talked about suppliers, the types of customers we have - national and international - and gave them some practical examples of the concepts they already learned about in class.

Applied to our tree nursery, we came to talk about the capital you need to buy the grounds for cultivating your trees, the amount of workers you need, what the difference is between labour-intensive and -extensive and which courses you need to follow for important basic knowledge about growing trees.

We were happy to welcome these students and would love to organise this kind of activity again!
